Leadership Starts With Vision

It has been said that “We are limited not by our abilities, but by our vision.” Today I want to write about vision because as it states in Proverbs, “Without vision, the people perish.” Vision is typically thought of as physical but eyes are merely the instruments. Vision, like belief, is internal. It is in our judgment, understanding and imagination. The word “vision” comes from the old Germanic word “vissen” and it means, “I know what I see.” When you have a vision you know what you see and it doesn’t matter whether anyone else sees it or not. The saying goes hindsight is 20/20 but for those who have vision, foresight is 20/20. When I think of vision I think of Bill Gates.
