Make The Most of Your Free Time

What are you doing with your free time?

Here is a little math for you
– If you sleep 7 hours a day and work 8, you still have 63 hours a week in free time which is 252 hours a month and 3024 in a year.

What are you doing with your 3024 hours?

People complain they don’t have time to exercise, read books, spend time with friends and family, etc… but we all have the same amount of hours in a day.

The truth is many of us waste that time with TV and mindless surfing of the internet. Recent studies show that Americans average nearly 10 hours a day between TV and surfing the internet. That is a lot of time wasted!

Make the most of your free time. Do something productive. Spend time with those you love. Read. Learn new skills. Exercise.

Ultimately the way we spend those hours separate us from everyone else.

  1. Ty,

Your post was the yin to my yang this week. In my blog I talked about how we’ll spend 2000 hours this year at work, and tomorrow we’ll have 8 hours less than we have today. My challenge to readers was “How are you spending your today?”

Your post is a great reminder that what we do with our work AND free time matters and makes a difference both in the present and in the future.

    Thanks for the push.

    Have a great weekend!
